NEW YORK, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Two men have been charged in New York with providing customers with satellite broadcasts of a Hezbollah-run Lebanese TV station.
Javed Iqbal, of New York, and Saleh Elahwal, of Matawan, N.J., pleaded innocent to charges of providing material support to terrorists in Manhattan federal court, the New York Post reported Tuesday.
Prosecutors allege the two men received more than $100,000 from the TV station, Al Manar, which has been labeled a global terrorist entity.
