New bombshell in Duke rape case

DURHAM, N.C., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- A stripper who drove an alleged rape victim home from a Duke University house party in North Carolina claims the accuser asked her to leave marks on her body.

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" Monday, dancer Kim Roberts said the accuser was clearly impaired and "talking crazy" as Roberts drove her home. Roberts said the accused then refused to get out of the car, and when Roberts tried pushing her out, the woman said: "Go ahead, put marks on me. That's what I want. Go ahead."

Roberts said she hadn't told prosecutors about the remarks as no one had asked.

Roberts has publicly changed her opinion on the March 2005 incident, at one point calling the rape allegations "a crock," and then saying she wasn't sure if a rape had occurred at the school lacrosse team party.

Three students who were on the lacrosse team, Dave Evans, Colin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann, were charged last spring with rape and kidnapping for the alleged attack.
