GREENWOOD, Ind., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Indiana say they have confiscated a huge collection of child pornography allegedly belonging to a man who was a volunteer youth coach.
Robert Hunter, 37, was arrested by Greenwood police this week on charges of child exploitation and possession of child pornography that totaled nearly 8,000 computer files.
Greenwood Police Chief Joe Pitcher told the Indianapolis Star the cache was one of the worst he had ever seen, and that it could take months to confirm whether or not the images involved any local kids.
Hunter was released on $59,000 bail, but was suspended from his job as a city streets worker and has been banned from volunteering at an elementary school athletic program.
The Star said Hunter was arrested after he allegedly provided porn images to FBI agents in an undercover Internet sting.
