DURHAM, N.C., Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A dancer who attended a lacrosse team party at Duke University in Durham, N.C., has contradicted the story of another dancer who claims she was raped.
Kim Pittman denied during an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes" the accuser's claims that the two women were forcibly separated by members of the team at the party, the Durham (N.C.) Herald-Sun reported Friday.
The accuser claimed in a police statement that "Three guys grabbed Nikki. Brett, Adam and Matt grabbed me. They separated us at the master bedroom door while we tried to hold on to each other. Brett, Adam and Matt took me into the bathroom."
"Nikki" is Pittman's professional name. None of the men charged in the case are named Brett, Adam or Matt.
Pittman told the CBS' Ed Bradley that the incident never took place. She also denied the accuser's claims that Pittman helped dress her after the alleged rape.
The interview, along with interviews with defendants is scheduled to air Sunday.
