"The caretaker's wife was walking through the cemetery about 7 a.m. when she noticed the grave was kicked about," state Trooper David Fedorshak told The Harrisburg (Pa.) Patriot-News. "Flowers and a stuffed animal stomped on and kicked around there, the flowers ripped out and thrown around."
Police did not know who was responsible for the vandalism at the Georgetown, Pa., cemetery, Fedorshak said.
Charles Carl Roberts, 32, entered the West Nickel Mines Amish School in Bart Township Oct. 2 armed with a shotgun, rifle and pistol.
He ordered four adults and 15 boys out of the school. He then lined up the 10 remaining girls, tied them and shot them execution style, killing five, as police stormed the building.
The five girls were buried Thursday and Friday.
Roberts was buried Saturday in his wife's family plot.
