Three convicted in '93 Mumbai blasts

MUMBAI, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A court in India convicted three men in the 1993 Mumbai blasts for allowing their trawlers to be used to bring ashore a consignment of explosive materials.

Yeshwant Nagu Bhoinkar, Abbas Dawood Shaikhdare and Shahjahan Ibrahim Shaikhdare were, however, acquitted under an anti-terrorism law as the court held they had no knowledge the consignment contained RDX materials and arms, reports the Press Trust of India.
