ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The father of U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., pleaded guilty in St. Paul, Minn., to disorderly conduct charges after he was accused of having sex in a vehicle.

Norm Coleman Sr., 81, and Patrizia Marie Schrag, 38, pleaded guilty to the same misdemeanor charge after they were caught having sex in a car outside a pizzeria, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported Tuesday.

They were each sentenced to one-year probation, 24 hours of community service, a $50 fine, $28 in court costs and were ordered by Ramsey County District Judge Kathleen Gearin to stay away from Red's Savoy Pizza and its parking lot for one year.

Charges of lewd conduct were dropped against the pair.
