Three Hezbollah fighters indicted

JERUSALEM, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Israel Monday filed murder and other charges against three Hezbollah guerrillas who were captured by its forces in the recent Lebanon war.

The indictments filed in a Nazareth district court also accused the three of attempted murder, membership in a terror organization, connection with acts of terror and intent to harm Israelis, reports the Jerusalem Post.

The Post quoted military sources that the three visited Iran several times to participate in military exercises. All three are believed to be Shiites.

The sources told the Post one of the guerrillas, Hussein Suleiman, 22, was allegedly involved in the capture of two Israeli soldiers, which led to the start of the war.
