Serb villager kills wife, 2 sons, himself

LESKOVAC, Serbia, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Police said a 58-year-old villager shot and killed his wife and two sons, before killing himself at the southern Serbian town of Leskovac.

Slobodan Kostic divorced his wife Stana, 64, two years ago, but they kept living in their village house together with two sons, aged 37 and 35. Having killed his wife and sons, Kostic went to his cousin's house and shot himself.

A Leskovac police's statement said the most probable cause for the killings were broken family relations.
