The Istanbul blast injured six people, while the resort attacks injured 21 people, 10 of them British tourists, CNN Turk reported.

Only one of the three blasts in Marmaris caused injuries when it exploded on a minibus. The other two devices went off in garbage bin, and there were no injuries reported from those, local media said.

None of the victims had life-threatening injuries and nine of them were released after treatment for shrapnel injuries, the BBC said.

Bombings in Turkey have been carried out in the past by Kurdish separatists, Islamic militants and leftist extremists.
