LONDON, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Ryanair says it plans to sue the British government over delays and cancellations caused by airport security changes.
The changes followed the reported Aug. 10 airline bombing plot. Ryanair insists the new rules are ineffective and should be changed, Sky News said.

The company wants almost $5.7 million in compensation. It says it will donate all proceeds from its action to charity if it is successful.
