Pilot killed in Russian chopper crash

BELORECHENSK, Russia, May 27 (UPI) -- Five passengers survived but the pilot was killed when a helicopter crashed Saturday in Russia.

The crash occurred about 20 miles northwest of the city of Belorechensk, in the Krasnodar region on the edge of the Black Sea, Itar-Tass reported.

Two people walked away from the crash and refused medical attention. Three were hospitalized with injuries.

Investigators were trying to determine what caused the crash. The helicopter belonged to a private company.
