MODESTO, Calif., May 26 (UPI) -- Seven California jurors who sentenced Scott Peterson to death for the murder of his wife Laci and their unborn child are writing books for release this fall.

Thus far, 11 books and two electronic books have been written on the subject, the Modesto Bee reported.

"We, the Jury: Deciding Scott Peterson's Fate," is being written primarily by People magazine's Frank Swertlow for juror John Guinasso. The book will detail why the jurors decided to convict Peterson of first-degree murder for killing his wife and second-degree murder for the death of the fetus, Connor.

It will also explain why Guinasso was involved in removing three jurors.

Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred, who represented massage therapist Amber Frey, Peterson's girlfriend, helped land four book contracts.

Peterson's half-sister, Anne Bird, published a book, "Fight Back and Win," as did the pathologist, Dr. Cyril Wecht, who wrote "Tales From the Morgue."
