Four indicted in Colorado arson

DENVER, May 19 (UPI) -- Federal prosecutors in Colorado Friday announced the indictments of four alleged eco-terrorists in a multimillion-dollar 1998 arson in Vail.

Indictments were issued against Chelsea Dwan Gerlach, 29; Stanislas Gregory Meyerhoff, 28; Josephine Sunshine Overaker, 31; and Rebecca Jeanette Rubin, 33. Overaker and Rubin are still at large, the Denver Post reported.

The four are accused of destroying Two Elk Lodge, Ski Patrol headquarters and three ski-lift buildings, causing some $12 million in damage and for which the Earth Liberation Front claimed responsibility.

The Rocky Mountain News reported the indictments stemmed from new information investigators received from someone closely tied to the group.
