CHICAGO, May 5 (UPI) -- A 2-year-old Chicago boy apparently left at home with a 7-year-old when his mother went to work Friday died after a 5-story plunge from an open window.
The toddler's body was found in a pool of blood on the ground near the Rogers Park apartment building by a neighbor about 10:30 a.m., the Chicago Tribune reported.

No charges have been filed pending an autopsy Saturday.
Detectives said the boy and a 7-year-old sibling may have been left home alone because a babysitter had not arrived when the mother left for work.
