LONDON, April 28 (UPI) -- Five young men have denied charges they planned to carry out terror bombings on London's transit system last July with improvised explosives.

Ibrahim Muktar Said, 27; Ramzi Mohamed, 23; Yassin Omar, 24; and Hussain Osman, 27, were charged with conspiracy to murder and cause explosions on London's subway and a bus on July 21, 2005.

A fifth suspect, Manfo Asiedu, 32, was not accused of murder conspiracy and denied the charges, and a sixth man, Adel Yahya, did not enter a plea to conspiracy charges, the BBC reported Friday.

The BBC said five other people are expected to face charges in the failed terror plot. A trial is expected to begin in October.
