ATLANTA, April 23 (UPI) -- A baseball coach at a suburban Atlanta high school has been arrested on charges of carrying on a sexual relationship by e-mail with a 17-year-old student.

Daniel Corsi, a coach at Alpharetta High School north of Atlanta, was taken into custody on charges of suspicion of sexual assault and electronically furnishing obscene materials to a minor, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Police said the girl and her mother complained about sexually explicit e-mails in February. A subsequent search of Corsi's school computer prompted his arrest Friday, the newspaper said.
