Ukraine's Orange partners to reunite

KIEV, Ukraine, April 6 (UPI) -- The party of President Viktor Yushchenko of Ukraine may join hands again with its "Orange Revolution" partners to set up a governing coalition.

A spokeswoman for Our Ukraine bloc said the party's political council has decided to reunite with former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's party and the Socialists, reports the BBC.

Tymoshenko, who was dismissed last September by Yushchenko, wants to regain her prime minister's post but it was not clear if that would happen in the new coalition.

During the 2004 "Orange Revolution" street protests the two leaders had stood together before they came to power. But their alliance fell apart due to rivalry among their top aides, the report said.
