Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

BANGKOK, March 21 (UPI) -- Singapore's embassy in Bangkok was targeted for a demonstration by thousands of Thais seeking the ouster of their Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
The demonstrators protested the sale by the family of Thaksin of its share in a Thai telecom giant to a Singapore company, reports the BBC.
A leader of the demonstration said Singapore should "stop cooperating with Thaksin to loot Thailand." Thaksin has denied any wrongdoing in the sale.
In other developments, Thailand's election chief reportedly has said he cannot postpone the April 2 snap elections called by Thaksin, the report said. The country's main opposition has threatened to boycott the election.
