Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor

BAGHDAD, March 9 (UPI) -- A U.S. military spokesman said that at least 452 people were killed in sectarian violence following the bombing of the Golden Mosque.
At a news conference in Baghdad, Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch said that there have been at least 81 mosque attacks since Feb. 22 with eight mosques destroyed and another 15 heavily damaged.
Lynch also told reporters that Iraqis are increasingly united against the insurgency with an increasing number of tips to a national hotline.
"Out in al Anbar, the terrorists and foreign fighters have become the enemy to the people," Lynch said.
