BAGHDAD, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- More than 28 people were killed in multiple attacks in Iraq, including a bombing of a mini-bus in a Shiite region of Baghdad.
The BBC reports emergency workers were taking out bodies from the bus after a suicide bomber set off a device Monday morning.
Five truck drivers were killed when their convoy was fired on with rockets and other weapons just north of Baghdad.
And police in Mosul said a man ate breakfast at the Abu Ali restaurant before placing an explosive-laden bag under the counter. At least five people were killed there.
More than six people were killed in other incidents across the country.
