COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Editors at the Danish newspaper that sparked Muslim outrage over a series of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed are at odds over more cartoons.

Jyllands-Posten culture editor Flemming Rose had planned to publish more religious caricatures but Editor-in-Chief Carsten Juste nixed it, the Copenhagen Post reported.

Deadly demonstrations have engulfed the Muslim world in recent days to protest the cartoons, which were republished by other newspapers. An Iranian newspaper responded by soliciting cartoons of the Holocaust, and Rose told CNN he would publish them as well.

"Under no circumstances do we intend to publish the Iranian Holocaust cartoons," Juste said, however.

Rose told TV2 he just wanted to show that his paper wasn't out to get Muslims.
