HAVANA, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Large black flags adorned with a white star were placed in front of the U.S. mission in Cuba representing those killed in attacks against the nation.
Cuban leader Fidel Castro was on hand for the raising of the flags. Castro and Cuba leaders claim the United States has either organized or condoned attacks from abroad on the island over the decades.

The flags were raised to block a large electronic sign outside the mission that regularly broadcasts news and human rights information.
