WHITE ROCK, British Columbia, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Police in a British Columbia city are looking for three teenagers accused of pushing an 81-year-old man into oncoming traffic.

White Rock police said the teens asked the man, "Do you want to die?" and then shoved him into 30 mph traffic, the Toronto Globe and Mail reports.

He was able to move out of the way of an approaching car before being hurt.

Police are looking for three 15- to 17-year-olds. The man said he had never seen them before.

Police also want the driver of the car that nearly hit the man to come forward to tell what they saw.

The car drove off before police showed up.
