LONG BEACH, Calif., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Police blew up a device that reportedly looked like a hand grenade after it was found Monday in checked luggage at Long Beach Airport near Los Angeles.
KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, said one passenger was detained for questioning after the airport's only terminal was evacuated about 8:20 a.m. PST.
