Spain: Police arrest seven terror suspects

MADRID, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Spanish authorities arrested seven people Friday on charges of bankrolling Islamic terror groups, El Mundo reported in its online edition.

The arrests follow last month's arrest of 10 suspects linked to a radical Algerian Islamic group with ties to al-Qaida.

There was no indication Friday whether the recently detained suspects were associated with those arrested in November, said police.
