Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist
NOVO-OGAREVO, Russia, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin says he hopes to maintain a high level of cooperation with Germany.
"We pin high hopes that the growth of our cooperation and the quality of our cooperation will be kept in future," Putin said at a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier Saturday.
Putin said German Chancellor Angela Merkel has agreed to a meeting next month, Itar-Tass reported.
"Germany has been and remains an important partner for us in the EU and in bilateral relations," he said.
