Kissing kills girl allergic to peanuts

JONQUIERE, Quebec, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- A 15-year-old Quebec girl who was allergic to peanuts has died after kissing her boyfriend, who had eaten peanut butter earlier.

The unidentified girl in Jonquiere was injected with adrenalin soon after the reaction started, but it had no effect, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., reported.

She was rushed to a hospital, but died of respiratory failure.
