Suspect arrested in mall shooting

TACOMA, Wash., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Police in Tacoma, Wash., have arrested a suspect who held three hostages after allegedly shooting at least six people at a shopping mall Sunday.

Police said SWAT team members took the suspect into custody a little more than three hours after the suspect -- initially identified only as a young man -- opened fire as he walked through the Tacoma Mall just after noon PST. The mall was locked down after the shooting as police searched for the shooter -- who eventually took three hostages in a record store.
