NEW DELHI, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Investigators believe a single group was behind the explosions that hit two markets in New Delhi Saturday.
NDTV reported police are focusing on a militant Kashmiri group that has been banned in Pakistan. Lashkar e-Taiba has been blamed for several deadly attacks on soft targets, like those rocked by explosions on Saturday.
An obscure radical Islamic group with ties to Lashkar claimed credit for the bombings.
More than 60 people were killed and almost 200 were injured in the three bombings. One that exploded on a bus was spotted by a passenger before it went off.
The bombs are believed to have been on timers.
The explosions went off in the late afternoon when the markets were crowded with people shopping for the big festivals of India's major religions, Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, and Eid, the Muslim feast that marks the end of Ramadan.
Markets were open and thronged Sunday, NDTV said, with a heavy police presence. Shopkeepers opened their businesses even in the bazaars where the bombings took place.
