NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Former U.S. Ambassador Joseph Wilson said in an interview with CBS there have been threats against his wife, outed CIA agent Valerie Plame.

The interview, Wilson's first since the indictment of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby for obstructing an investigation into Plame's exposure, is to be broadcast Sunday night on "60 Minutes."

"There have been specific threats," Wilson told correspondent Ed Bradley. "Beyond that I just can't go."

He said he and his wife have discussed security measures with several agencies.

Also on "60 Minutes," Jim Marcinkowski -- a former CIA agent who trained with Plame -- says her exposure puts other agents using the same cover at risk and lets the public and foreign intelligence agencies know that an ambassador's wife might also be in the CIA.

Wilson said when his wife was exposed in a July 2003 column by commentator Robert Novak, she felt as though she had "been hit in the stomach." He said she then began methodically determining what needed to be done to protect the operations she was working on and the people she had been in contact with.
