Former Prime Minister Thatcher turns 80

LONDON, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Britain celebrated the 80th birthday of its former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher with a big party that included Queen Elizabeth.

Other guests included people from all walks of life. Labor Prime Minister Tony Blair also was expected at the party, reports the BBC.

Thatcher, the first woman to hold the position, was British prime minister from 1979-90.
