Norwegian princess moves to new house

OSLO, Norway, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Princess Martha Louise and her family have moved into their newly expanded house in a valley west of Oslo, Norway.

The house -- located in a wooded area -- became controversial after the princess and her husband Ari Behn got a variance to sidestep conservation regulations that normally would have prohibited the expansion, reported Aftenposten Friday.

During the controversy two years ago, the family moved to New York. Most recently, they have been living at the summer house in Hanko that Martha Louise inherited from her grandfather, the late King Olav.

The princess is planning a U.S. tour in October to promote her new children's book. Plans call for her to stop in New York, North Dakota, Seattle and Los Angeles.
