COWDENBEATH, England, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- A British woman died four days after a criminal robbed her for the second time, the Times of London reports.

Robert Fisher was given a life sentence for robbing 90-year-old widow, Williamina Lister, at her Cowdenbeath home last August.

In 1999, Fisher was sentenced to 10 years for robbing Lister. He was released in March 2004.

During the most recent attack Fisher pushed Lister to the ground, grabbed her throat and told her he'd kill her if she told anyone. He then stole 240 pounds, or 436 U.S. dollars.

Although the High Court said the second attack must have terrified Lister, who thought the attacker was incarcerated, prosecutors couldn't establish a connection between the attack and her death.

Fisher will not be eligible for early release for nearly 14 years.
