Four killed in Kazakhstan explosion

ZHEZKAZGAN, Kazakhstan, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- At least four people died and six were injured in an explosion in a factory in Kazakhstan.

Novosti reported the blast occurred in a factory owned by Kengir, a company that produces explosives for Kazakhmys, a copper-mining corporation. The plant is more than 20 miles from the town of Zhezkazgan in the Karaganda region.

The explosion gutted the two-story building, burying the victims in debris.
