Serial killer had list of possible victims

BRUSSELS, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- A Belgian newspaper reported Wednesday that a confessed French serial killer had a list of foreign students.

Expatica reports that Michel Fourniret's students on the list were all enrolled at the University of Liege in Wallonia, Belgium.

Prosecutors are trying to contact the students to see if Fourniret attempted to or successfully attacked them.

He allegedly tried to kidnap a nurse at the Free University of Brussels academic hospital.

Fourniret, a French forest warden, will be tried in France. He is accused of murders in both France and Belgium.
