Blount will serve 10 years' probation after his release from a Florida state prison.

The 42-year-old Apopka man was convicted of manslaughter for killing 16-year-old Lonnie Hillery in February 2004.

Blount told the jury he shot at Hillery from his vehicle to stop him from bullying his son.
