Canada body-parts murder victim identified

MOSCOW, July 16 (UPI) -- A Russian military helicopter reportedly crashed in southern Chechnya Saturday, killing eight people.
The Mi-8 helicopter carrying a three-member crew and six passengers crashed near a town in southern Chechnya, Air Force spokesman Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky told the Itar-Tass news agency.
"As a result of the crash, all the crew members and five passengers died and one passenger received severe injuries and was taken to hospital," Drobyshevsky said. Reports said some of the passengers were Russian border guards.
The Interfax news agency reported Chechen military prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into the incident.
