Four people die in Turkish resort blast

KUSADASI, Turkey, July 16 (UPI) -- At least four people died and 14 others were injured in an explosion Saturday on a minibus in the Turkish Aegean resort of Kusadasi.

The blast occurred six days after a similar bombing in the nearby town of Cesme, which left at least 20 people injured, the BBC reported.

The cause of Saturday's explosion was not immediately determined, but investigators said they had not ruled out a suicide bomb attack.

Militants both from the far left and from Islamist groups have carried out bombings in Turkey in the past, as have Kurdish rebels, the BBC said.
