PARIS, July 7 (UPI) -- Former French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin has found a new vocation: author.
Not content with writing about France, Jospin is preparing a new book about the state of the world, France's Liberation newspaper reports Thursday.
The fruit of more than a year's toil, the book is expected to be published in October by Edition Gallimard.
Among other things, Jospin is touching on globalization, American power, and how to define progress.
Jospin declared he was retiring from politics in 2002, after losing his bid in the French presidential elections.
