Nazis in England to be revealed

LONDON, June 24 (UPI) -- The British government will release the names of suspected Nazi war criminals of whom up to 200 may still be living in the country.

The Consolidated Wanted List compiled in 1947 had contained about 60,000 names, but it remained protected until now under the Official Secrets Act, Sky News reported.

Scotland Yard will be asked to investigate any former concentration camp guards who are thought to be living in Britain.

Nazi-hunter Ian Sayer insists these people be tracked down, even though they might be in their 80s or 90s.

Earlier this week, an Italian judge sentenced 10 former SS officers to life in prison for their roles in the murder of 560 villagers in Tuscany.
