LONDON, May 30 (UPI) -- British authorities Monday searched for the friend of a teenage boy, both presumed drowned when they dove into rough seas to rescue a pet dog.
The boys jumped into 20-foot deep waters off Blackpool to rescue a collie, but an undertow and gale-force winds appeared to drag them away, the Telegraph reported Monday.

The body of Oliver Harvey, 16, was pulled from the sea by a helicopter rescue crew Saturday. Officials continued what they described as a recovery effort for the body of Harvey's best friend, Alex Kazimir Yorke.
The black and white collie, which was not on a leash, also drowned.
