Mozilla releasing Firefox security update

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 13 (UPI) -- California's Mozilla Foundation has released a security update for its Firefox open-source browser designed to deal with two vulnerabilities.

The Firefox 1.0.4 update includes several security fixes, as well as a fix to DHTML errors encountered on some Web sites, CNET News reported Friday.

Mozilla has released the update in 12 languages and expects it out in another 24 languages within days, Mozilla said.

Last month, more than 50 million downloads of the free browser had been recorded.
