Letourneau, Fualaau wedding to be large

SEATTLE, May 3 (UPI) -- Ex-teacher Mary Kay Letourneau, who spent seven years in jail for having an affair with a 12-year-old boy, is planning a big wedding in Seattle.

The 12-year-old boy, Vili Fualaau, now 22, and Letourneau have licensed the exclusive rights to their story to the syndicated television show "The Insider."

"The Insider" anchor Lara Spencer interviewed the couple, and the wedding is expected to be large, with six bridesmaids, six groomsmen, and some 200 guests.

"She's treating this like it's the biggest day of her life, and it is, to her," Spencer told "The Early Show" on CBS Tuesday. Letourneau is "definitely not a runaway bride, this one. She'll be there. She's in it for the long haul."

The two daughters of Fualaau and Letourneau are expected to be flower girls, and the four children from Letourneau's first marriage are expected to attend.

Spencer commented that the couple looked deeply into each other's eyes for "endless amounts of time."

"I felt like I was interrupting something," she said. "There's a lot of love there."
