ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, April 30 (UPI) -- Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi arrived Saturday in Pakistan for talks on resuming loans to the Asian nation.
Koizumi, who is on a six-day, four-nation trip to South Asia and Europe, first stopped in India before meeting Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf, the Kyodo news service reported.

The Japanese leader is expected to press Pakistanis about the nuclear information leaked by Pakistan's disgraced nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan.
After Pakistan, Koizumi visits Luxembourg and the Netherlands before returning to Tokyo Tuesday.
