SEATTLE, April 15 (UPI) -- Mary Kay Letourneau, the Seattle schoolteacher who has to register as a sex offender, reportedly has now registered as a bride-to-be.

Letourneau, 43, who spent 7.5 years in prison for raping Vili Fualaau, one of her grade school students who is now 22, apparently now intends to marry him, possibly on Saturday, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer says.

WeddingChannel.com, on which the couple were registered, lists April 16 as the wedding date. But,the King County Recorder's Office had no marriage license or license application on file for the couple. Washington State law requires a three-day waiting period before a marriage license becomes valid.

Whether the wedding is this weekend or not, the couple's online gift registry is quickly filling up.
