Falwell's hospital stay not over yet

LYNCHBURG, Va., April 4 (UPI) -- The Rev. Jerry Falwell said he will be hospitalized in Lynchburg, Va., for "a little while yet" while doctors treat him for respiratory arrest.

The 71-year-old pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church was brought to Lynchburg General Hospital to be treated for possible congestive heart failure, but hospital officials now say he is in fair condition and his heart is strong, the Lynchburg News & Advance reported Monday.
