Hana F. Al Jader, 39, was ordered held Wednesday without bond pending a hearing in Boston Thursday where officials from the Saudi Embassy would appear on her behalf, the Boston Herald reported.
The U.S. government alleges Al Jader threatened her servants with "serious harm or physical restraint" if they did not obey her edicts on caring for her wheelchair-bound husband, H.H. Prince Mohamed Bin Turki Al Saud, and her five sons, who witnesses say routinely spit on the women.
Prosecutors say the women were paid $75 a week but Al Jader reported to immigration officials they earned $375 a week.
