Poll: Almost half in U.S. creationist

CHICAGO, March 19 (UPI) -- Jose Canseco, the steroid-enhanced former Oakland As slugger, says at least one top athlete lied to Congress under oath this week.
Thursday's hearing before a U.S. House of Representatives panel investigating the use of performance-enhancing drugs by professional athletes drew sworn testimony from Canseco, Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Sammy Sosa and Curt Schilling, the Chicago Sun-Times said Saturday.
"I'm amazed how some individuals never answered any questions, and some individuals outright lied," Canseco said.
Asked who lied, Canseco said only: "I'm not going to cover that. I'm not going to cover the players anymore."
