GAZA, March 6 (UPI) -- A senior resigning Fatah movement leader stressed Sunday resignations of the organization's leaders will continue until their demands are accepted.
Ahmed Ghuneim, who, along with 31 other Fatah young leaders, told reporters "the action aims at confronting the unilateral decision making (of the old Fatah guards)."
"The resigning Fatah leaders are not intending to change their attitude and cancel their resignation until these resignations achieve its legal declared demands," said Ghuneim.
The 32 Fatah movement leaders, who lead the Fatah bureaus of mobilization and organization, resigned Friday to protest the lessening of their roles in the Fatah movement.
He said the Fatah central committee "is fully responsible of any negative reaction to resignation which came to end deterioration of the unwise Fatah leadership."
